Description
Bipedal canine creature in Michigan, particularly northwestern Lower Peninsula. Described as 6-7 feet tall, walking upright, with dog or wolf-like head. Allegedly appears in years ending in 7, starting with 1887. The 1987 song 'The Legend' by Steve Cook brought widespread attention. Sightings from Wexford County, Manistee, throughout northern Michigan.
