Description
Creature from Pennsylvania lumberjack folklore - described as perpetually sad and ugly, constantly weeping. According to legend, Squonk is so ashamed of appearance it dissolves into tears when captured. Said to have warty, mottled skin and live in hemlock forests. Part of 'fearsome critter' tradition but with roots in Pennsylvania Dutch folklore.
