Description
Creature from Tennessee and Appalachian folklore. According to legend, man living alone cut off tail of strange creature that entered his cabin and ate it. Creature returned each night demanding its 'tailypo' back. Described as dark and cat-like with glowing eyes. Popular campfire story with roots in genuine folk tradition.
