The Shakespeare Tavern is said to be visited by spirits. Witnesses have reported disembodied voices, shadow figures and strange lights. Apparitions seen here include a young boy in an 1800s blue velvet suit, an old man in period clothing, and a woman who moves items around in the women’s dressing room.
